2019 BIA Parade of Homes – Evans Farm

Columbus’ 2019 BIA Parade of Homes will take place Saturday, July 13 through Sunday, July 28 at Evans Farms, and will feature fourteen breathtaking homes built by twelve of Ohio’s premier builders. Parade builders include: 3 Pillar Homes, ALTA Design Build, Arthur Rutenberg Homes, Bob Webb Homes, Coppertree Homes, Cua Builders, Guzzo & Garner Custom Builders, Kenric Fine Homes, Maronda Homes, P & D Builders, Sierra Custom Homes, and Stonecliff Homes. 3 Pillar Homes and Maronda Homes are each building two houses.

Evans Farm is one of Lewis Center’s most anticipated communities and will be the site of the 2019 BIA Parade of Homes. The community is being developed by Evans Farm Land Development Co. on the site of the former Evan’s family farm and when complete will feature 2,182 single-family home sites and almost 900 mixed use, attached, multifamily units, featuring traditional architectural styles including Craftsman, Cape Cod, Victorian and more.

Evans Farm is a mixed-use, new urbanism community located in the Olentangy School District, in both Orange and Berlin Townships. When complete, the community will have several village retail areas, an agricultural center, a community center, a YMCA, an elementary school and parks, along with single family and multifamily homes.

Evans Farm broke ground in late 2016, beginning with the extension of off-site utilities; its first phase is located on the north side of Lewis Center Road. Lewis Center is an unincorporated community in northwestern Delaware County, located between Columbus and Delaware. The community lies on the east side of the Olentangy River, across from the city of Powell, and west of Alum Creek State Park.

Although Lewis Center is a small community, encompasses a number of shopping centers including and retail establishments that line U.S. Route 23 in the nearby vicinity as well as the nearby Polaris Fashion Place Mall and all that this area has to offer including shopping, dining and restaurants, entertainment including the Cinemark Theater, PLEIJ Salon+Spa, and much more.

Lewis Center was founded around 1850 when the railroad was extended to that point. The community was named after the family of William L. Lewis, who gave their land for a railroad station in exchange for the naming rights. A post office called Lewis Centre was established in 1852, and the name was changed to Lewis Center in 1893.
